Former King’s Lynn pupil publishes book on business sanity

A former pupil of Lynn’s King Edward VII School has published her first book aimed at anyone working in business, no matter what size the organisation or level of experience.

Jackie Sykes (nee Scullard), 41, who lived in North Wootton where she attended the village primary school, now lives in Windsor and has co-written a book, Staying Sane in Business, with her business partner, Chris Welford, published on March 30.

The book is described as being “for readers who usually find business books a bit boring, who are starved of time and want a book to get to the point as quickly as possible”

Jackie, who is a co-director of Sixth Sense Consulting Ltd, is a chartered psychologist and works for businesses across the country coaching individuals and assessing candidates for roles.

She said: “Over the last twenty years it have been a privilege to work with so many interesting and varied companies across the UK and internationally and in such a diverse range of sectors and functions.”

Staying Sane in Business can be ordered online through the website, Amazon, and bookshops.
